Early Literacy and Brain Development

The emerging research from the medical community indicates that paying attention to the windows of opportunity for wiring and enhancing wiring of brain connections has definite implications for helping children develop literacy. This presentation looks a developmental stages of literacy in consort with the windows of opportunity suggested by medical research.
